Internationally Certified Parental Burnout Practitioner and Holistic Life Coach.


It’s an honour to connect with you.

I’m an Internationally Certified Parental Burnout Practitioner and Holistic Life Coach.

My mission is to uplift, support and empower parents of adolescents across the globe to reclaim their lives.

I want to help you live beyond stifling social expectations, step out of the box that idealises parenting, connect with your authentic being and build nurturing, strong bonds with your adolescents.

I’m here to remind you that being imperfect is perfectly human.

In the very essence of your being, you know you are meant for more – but you aren’t sure how to make it happen. That’s where I step in! I am here to lovingly remind you that life is for living. It’s your time

As someone who has experienced severe Burnout while parenting, I know first-hand what you are going through.

I know all too well how easy it is to lose your identity when your life revolves around your children, family and work. When this happens, you lack balance and alignment – which leads to Burnout.

But I’m here to tell you something… I know what it takes for an adolescent to thrive: YOU!

When you thrive, your children flourish.

I’ve supported and uplifted thousands of parents to build strong, nurturing and authentic relationships with their adolescents for over twenty years.

Together, we have turned feelings of stress and tension into moments of connection and joy. I want that for you, too.

My Story

How did I get here?…

I grew into adulthood, ticking off the boxes of accomplishment that I was made to believe while growing up would bring me happiness, fulfilment, inner peace and success.

External validation was my default setting – I entrusted my happiness to others instead of myself.

The truth was that although I strive for perfection, I was missing the mark. As a parent, a wife and an overworked professional, I was constantly overwhelmed, stressed and wiped out physically and emotionally.

I had no idea what was happening to me, but I knew that something needed to change.

I felt the kind of exhaustion that runs deep into your soul. I felt stuck and I wondered how long I could go on like this. I knew in my heart that this was survival, not living.

I woke up with blurry vision one morning, and I could hardly see. Panic attacks started to kick in. The journey of endless medical tests began.

The diagnosis was Uveitis caused by an auto immune condition which resulted in me losing 80% of the vision in my left eye.

Until this point, I had not known that chronic stress and depression could impact my gut health and lead to severe inflammation in my body. I didn’t know that my feelings and the symptoms I was experiencing were linked to Burnout. These diagnoses were an alarm bell going off that I had things in my life that I needed to start facing.

So what did I do?

I started to change how I show up for myself in life.

I made myself a priority.

With the support of my mentor, naturopath and some health professionals, I committed to living a natural and holistic lifestyle.

I finally accepted that the band-aid solution that I was using was not working – so I went deep and committed to healing my wounds. I slowed down. I gave myself permission to rest. I listened to my body, tamed my inner critic, calmed my ego, and aligned with my higher self.

I recreated healthy boundaries and surrounded myself only with people who made me feel good about just being me. I learned to communicate my needs healthily, I welcomed all my emotions and allowed myself to feel them fully.

I connected with my authentic being and purpose. I stopped needing to be the “perfect mum,” and lo and behold – a strong, nurturing and authentic bond developed between my teenage son and myself.

I am now experiencing the absolute joy of being a parent to an adolescent. I approach life with a positive and resilient mindset that is the bedrock of me thriving as an ambitious woman, mother, wife and professional who loves herself fiercely and knows her worth.

I found the missing piece… My True Self.

When your energy is up, life's little challenges w When your energy is up, life's little challenges won't annoy you as much😊💯

This week, I took some time off work to be alone and focus on caring for myself while also working on a collaborative project. 

Taking time off work can sometimes be viewed as selfish or unproductive (according to some workplaces, especially if there are so many things going on and requires your attention), but I needed to do this because I matter, and it was a necessary step for me to be a better being in the long run. 

This week I was able to get enough rest, exercise, eat healthy meals, have long lunches (no gobbling it down in 5 minutes), binge a bit on some of my favourite series on Netflix, read, and catch up with some people that inspire me and feed my brain with goodness. The people who believed in me and my dream even when am doubting myself.

When we prioritise our mental and physical well-being, we can show up in life with more energy, focus, creativity and feeling invigorated and refreshed.

So, if you're feeling overwhelmed or burnt out, don't hesitate to step back and prioritise self-care. It's not a selfish act but rather a necessary step towards becoming your best self.

Parents feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and experiencing prolonged exhaustion need to take proactive steps to address the root causes of the symptoms.

Parenting can be a significant source of stress an Parenting can be a significant source of stress and exhaustion, which, when taken lightly, can lead to Burnout. 

Parental Burnout, a condition characterised by emotional exhaustion, detachment from one's children, and a reduced sense of personal accomplishment, is a real and significant problem for many parents and caregivers that, unfortunately, we don't hear much about.

I haven't been active in this space this past week I haven't been active in this space this past week because I was so busy getting to know the mamas in my private Facebook group, Burnout -Proof Lounge💃🏽💖

As part of the Women's day celebration, I offered 10 of them a free mini-coaching session with me. I had an incredible time getting to know and supporting them and their family. Blessed am I to serve all those wonderful, loving and resilient mums ✨

As mothers, we are more alike than different!! We all want the best for our family, children and ourselves, but we struggle to create and maintain that healthy integration of our different roles😫.

All the mams I coached left the session feeling refreshed, reassured and supported. None of them had experience working with a life coach, so it was normal for them to feel unsure and nervous, but that didn't last long😇

Soon, they were basking in the nurturing and safe space I created for them🤗

As women, we face unique challenges in our persona As women, we face unique challenges in our personal and professional lives. Sometimes it can feel like we're alone in our struggles, but that couldn't be further from the truth. We are part of a community of strong, resilient women who have the power to support and uplift one another.

Instead of judging, comparing, and tearing each other down, we need to stand together and empower each other. When we do this, we can achieve great things. We can break down barriers, shatter glass ceilings, and create a more equitable and just world for ourselves and future generations.

So, let's make a conscious effort to support one another. It can be as simple as offering a kind word, gesture or hug.

 Let's celebrate each other's successes, lift each other during challenging times, and remind each other that we can achieve anything we set our minds to.

Together we're strong. Let's continue to build each other up, not only on  Women's Day but each and every single day.
